Personal data refers to information that reveals or can reveal a user’s identity. We avoid collecting personal data as much as possible. Personal data is used solely for establishing, defining the content of, executing, or processing a contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR). Beyond that, personal data is only processed if we have received your consent (Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR), are required to do so by law (Art. 6 (1) c) GDPR), or need to protect our own legal interests (Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR). Data will only be passed on to third parties if necessary to fulfill the contract. Personal data is collected only if it is provided to us directly by the individual.

Note on sensitive data:
Please note that applications—especially CVs, certificates, and other documents you submit—may contain special categories of personal data under Art. 9 of the GDPR (e.g., information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership). If you include such information in your online application, you are explicitly agreeing to and consenting to the processing, use, and storage of this data by Knirpsentreff gGmbH for the purpose of handling your application. The processing of this data is carried out in accordance with the GDPR, the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and other applicable laws, based on our privacy policy. If your application leads to the conclusion of an employment contract, the data you submitted may be stored in your personnel file for the purpose of standard organizational and administrative processes, in compliance with legal regulations. Furthermore, we may process your personal data if necessary to defend ourselves against legal claims from the application process. Our legitimate interest, for example, could be fulfilling a burden of proof in a procedure under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
